So I just ordered a 5" MBRP straight pipe for the truck!! Now the bad part... I have to wait for about 2 weeks for it to come in. I was on the fence on what to get - 4" vs 5", straight vs muffler, hopefully I made the right choice??

Yeah I know, right.. It is getting drop shipped directly from MBRP, I'm hoping that it will be less than 2 weeks - we'll see..

Its worth the wait. Just put a 4" MBRP straight pipe on my truck and love the sound. Fuel mileage may decrease slightly for all of the WOTs.. haha

Straight pipe is the ONLY way to go. You're going to love it. The install is so simple it's a perfect one to drink in between :drinks

That does seem to be the general opinion here on the df!! I do tow a 15,000lb 5th every once in a while with the family so I'm hoping that it isn't too loud while I'm towing.

I read alot of people complaining about being too loud, too much drone blah blah blah, but honestly with the windows up driving normally I can't even hear it. There is a slight drone that starts around 75, but a few extra clicks on the radio and it's gone. A few people have told me they swear they can hear me a mile down the road, but for some reason in the truck it isn't noticeable at all. With the window down and romping on it you can hear it good though :D

The reason it's so quiet to you is that your now deaf because of how loud it is...

Mine is straight piped and it's not loud at all.
