Hello everyone Im new to the forum, currently have a 2007 3500 Classic with LBZ Duramax that has broke crfankshaft.
I'm looking for some help on either a used stock engine that I could drop in, or a rebuilt engine possibly.

I'm in Northeast Texas, just East of Tyler.

Glad to be here and Thanks in advance for any help!!

I'd start calling up junkyards for some rollovers...wouldn't go for any with major front impacts.

What are your future plans for the truck? That will help you decide whether you want to build the motor you have given that the block is usable yet. If you want to build it up then I say do a built motor with a bottom end that will hold the power you're looking for. But if you're not planning on doing much with it then I'd find a motor out of salvage to drop in.
