New Project Crashed 2003 2500HD

Hi, this is my new project, it's a 2003 Chev 2500HD Duramax, with 50,000 miles. It was hit on the front right, air bags are good, should make a good solid truck. I bought this to replace my F350 Power Stroke, my wife and I like to RV in the spring and summer. Currently I'm rounding up parts and have started the initial teardown inspection of the damage. Mods during the rebuild will include Edge w/att module, MBRP exhaust, AEM Brute Force intake, Stainless nerf side bars, 285/75/16 BFG KO's, haven't decided on a Reflexxion cowl hood or a Keystone ram air hood. I'll also be changing the wheels, does anyone know if 8" rims will work with the 285's and what's the best offset? Thanks for the great site and I'll be sure to update the progress of the truck. Jim
