I have a 04 crewcab 6.6 turbo with the 5 speed tranny. I have had the truck for about a year and a half. I pull a 08 34 keystone cougar 5th wheel and I don't think that the truck has the power that it should. It also gets very warm, engin on the 3/4 mark between 210 & 260 of the gage and the tranny about 225 or so. When I am not pulling the trailer, the truck seems to be slow from take off. Any suggestions?:help

Is the truck an LB7 or LLY? A full exhaust & EFI live with some tow tunes could do you some good. I'm assuming its an 04.5 since its getting hot (LLY). An LBZ mouthpiece might be able to help with that as well. Common issues that can be found by a simple search. Welcome to DF!

my 8th number is a 2?
Then it's an LLY like a thought. Get an LBZ mouthpiece and PM MrManners for EFI tuning from Kory Willis with a heavy tow tune. Luckily you have an lly so you'll get full use of the turbo brake.
