Engine fan noise seems very loud last few days. I’ve had my 07 3500 for a couple weeks now and swear I haven’t heard this before. When the engine is cold, the engine fan is very loud and turning hard. You can tell it’s sucking a lot of HP turning. I first noticed it when I was driving to work a couple days ago, 45-50 degrees out, with the winter cover on. The engine was at 200 degrees. I’d assume the fan was working hard since it was warmed up, air was warm, and the winter cover was on. However, now with the winter cover off, it’s still loud. The truck used to be very quiet and I never heard the fan. However, now it’s noisy when cold, but gets quite after it warms up, backwards I think.
