So I think I got this figured right... please tell me yes or no. This is on a 03 lb7 and looking at 20x9 wheel btw.
0mm offset is flush stock.
The lift I want moves the front out 1.5 inches or about 38mm
So if I get a wheel with +18mm offset the wheel will stick out 20mm. Plus tire of course. Thank you and please tell me if I am wrong.

Incorrect. The stock wheels on your truck are I believe +28mm and only 6.5" wide so a 9" wheel with zero offset will be pushed further to the outside than stock by 1" of offset (from +28 to 0) and another 1.25" of wheel width so a total of roughly 2.25" + the 1.5" of the lift.

I am actually wanting a 18mm offset. How far will that be out past stock? Confused by different wheel widths I guess. Thank you!!!

a +18 offset will be 3/4" less, so 1.5" past stock. Then with the 1.5" of lift also that'd make it a total of 3"
