I was doing some maintenance on the trucks to day I opened up the hood on the D-MAX and found oil every where. Two week ago I put my LBZ mouth piece in and did the pcv rerought also the EGR plate. I check all that it’s not from there nor is it from the oil cap it’s on there. I check the oil level it was only ¾ of a quart low. The oil was up on the hood just over the front of motor and on top of it as well. O and the turbo is clean to.:help

Yikes! Have you checked the oil line to the turbo, and the lines to the oil cooler? Maybe one of them split or something. Best way to tell (and dirtiest) is to start it up and see where it sprays from lol

Probably not. Dmaxes aren't known for bad EGR coolers like a 6.0 Ford :rof

Tough to say where it came from then. Best bet might just be to wash the engine off and keep an eye on it to see where it's coming from.

In case its not the fill tube I had oil all over my engine when my trans cooler lines started leaking. Don't know if it was the fan or going down the highway but made a huge mess. Looked black too, but it was from the dirt. Probably not your problem but thought I'd throw it out there.
