Oil in air intake tube and filter, 03 Lb7

Ok, what's going on. Just got this truck a week ago and it's $500.00 me to death. Now, I check the stock filter to see if i can do any modifications to the box and there is oil in the filter and in the breather tube. Please don't tell me the engine is shot. The injectors were replaced 500 miles ago. There is no program of any kind on the truck cause it difinitely is stock, it won't pull as well as my other 03 w/ performance package. Help?
