I have heard of places that will spray the underside of your truck with oil to prevent rust each winter. Anyone know of a place around syracuse/utica that does this?
Thanks I HATE SALT!!!

Not sure about a place in NY, but I had mine done. The guy used bar and chain oil from a chain saw. The guy does his vehicles every year and his 97 chevy half ton doesn't have a speck of rust, which is very rare around here.

I'm gonna do a good undercoating on mine, but I think I'll look into doing this as well. I HATE rust.

Any other first hand experiences with this stuff? I'm in Michigan, and trucks don't last too long here.

Thanks

If your frame is not undercoated DO NOT UNDERCOAT IT Spray it with whatever. undercoating hides whats going on there.
