I have been putting amsoil 15/40 synthetic in my truck. However I have moved into a new apt and I wont be able to plug my truck in as much during the winter. I was wondering if anyone cud tell me if its ok to switch to 5/40 for the winter. And back to 15/40 when its summer or Shud I stay with what I have.

Either way, I have done both and have had no starting problems in the winter. We typically see 10 below, sometimes colder here.
