I'm paying $540 with tax .. hood and vent . I ordered one for a denali (brothers)and one for my high country . He should get his in a couple of days . I'll wait a week
I just spent about 2 hrs today looking under the hood of a L5P duramax trying to figure out how I could integrate a 2017 hood onto my 2015 and be functional. I have a S&B intake system, think it will be easy to integrate into my S&B airbox.
My question to you would be are you planning to integrate into your airbox or just be for looks? If going to integrate into airbox, do you have stock or aftermarket? If aftermarket, which intake system?
Here is 1 of several to chose from, a lot even have intake made to seal to the hood, unfortunately non seem to have the GM water seperation capabilities
TWIN540, do you think the insulation from a 2015.5 would have the same mounting holes as the 2017? Or would holes need to be drilled into the cross members to accomplish this.
