Hey guys, I'm currently building my lb7 engine for my race truck. Goal is around 1300whp so im looking to go with an external oil cooler and filter setup. Both for the added help of cooling and better packaging of everything in the truck. I built my own adapter for the oil ports on the block but curious what size AN line I should use. The factory cooler, in and out ports are around .70 ID so I was thinking a -12an line should be sufficient for the oil cooler and filter but after looking at PPEs setup they use -16an lines so it got me thinking if I should go that large or if it would cause issues with pressure drop. Also curious what kind of oil cooler and filter setups others are using, most of what I find is -10 in/out ports. Thanks.

Go with the -16an size. More flow, and you don't want to have that nice new engine looking for more oil than a .-12an line would supply.
