What's the best way to lower the back of my truck? I bought shackles which were to wide so I haven't got those on.but I want more than just 2in.what could I do that's still pretty cheap and not a ton of work?

Front and rear shackles IMO. It's quite the job sometimes, getting the stock ones out.

Axel maybe? Put the leaf springs under the axel I know a few people that did this to their s10s to lift em

im not sure i want the rear end of my 7000 pound truck unloaded hanging from 4 U bolts..... i would pull the overload springs, or do it right and get a lowering kit.

Second the lowering kit, and just a suggestion, probably the cheapest way to get it done
