Still pretty new at the diesel game. Been trying to do some research on porting the turbo mouthpiece on my LB7. I have read the benefits and all that good stuff, but how do you do it? Is it along the same idea as porting and polishing a cylinder head? Any pics would be great, or a link that shows, or at least explains how to do it would be great. Thanks:help

just take a dye grinder and run it arould the inside on the turbo side until the little lip in there is gone just be sure not to go to far and get it too thin

Trace the inside of the gasket the cut away all of the material inside the ring you traced out.

So it is exactly the same thing as porting and polishing intake/exhaust ports on a cylinder head like I thought. Thanks for the pics. They're helpful.

Pretty much! Just FYI you will need a universal to get the bottom bolt off

I used 1/4 drives and it was off in 15 min. I also put some blk electrical tape around the swivel to hold it in place.
