Hi there, I'm looking at a very low (178000KM) truck thats a few hours drive from me, it looks great from afar, but it has bad rockers and at least one rear fender due to rust. Apparently the truck was repainted 3 years ago. Attached are some pictures of the rust. Could you guys steer me as to what to offer on the truck? It's mint otherwise. Thanks in advance!

You probably shouldn’t even be looking at it if some rust is your concern. Just move on to something you can afford if the listed price is too much to you.

Rust can attack a lot of other things like brake lines, sensor connectors and other steel lines. I would look for a rust free west coast, TX or PNW truck and just pay the price. My 17 year old PNW LLY doesn't have one speck of rust, still has the wax on the frame and all the steel lines are clean and look new. Rust repair isn't cheap and it will just keep eating everything up.
