I plan on installing my ppe 160 lift pump tomorrow and ive read every post on df about it but Im still a little confused.

I would like to install the pump with T fittings before and after the pump so i can run the pump on a switch since these pumps have a short life.

I would really appreciate any pointers in going about this. also sizes of hose and fittings and rough measurements on lenth of hose i need greatly appreciated.

Most pumps are a flow through-- so if the switch is off-- it will pull fuel through the pump to supply fuel to the engine.

If you use "Ts" to connect the lines-- it will suck OK, but the pressure will go right back to the tank, through the fuel line. It would work, if you added a valve in the line next to the T.

the fuel feed is 1/2"...they are flow through but some are fine and others will throw fuel codes past half throttle
