I just replaced my def heater and my Innova 7111 will not do a forced regen. Then after reading more about the system I was told you have to prime the def pump. I have not found anyone else that knows anything about priming the def pump. Is this bullshit or something that has to be done?

What are you trying to accomplish? You have codes or messages?
Turn the pump on with the scan tool and pressure should hit 70.
DEF is not used for regeneration.

Clear codes and run a system tamper service bay test. If the codes don't clear then what are they?

I am not familiar with a "system tamper service bay test". What does that consist of? I purchased a innova 7111 because I was told that it would do anything that a snapon would as far as the duramax was concerned. Autozone blew that smoke up my ass. I cleared all the codes this evening and still had the def light, the service light and the traction control light. It changed the dic to 170 miles to 55mph then a min or so later it went to the 55mph deal,
