I'd like to see one too. I dont want to add flares to my truck and was told Pro Comp helps keep the tires within the stock flares, if that's what your looking for.

thanks

I have a 6" ProComp lift on my truck. I will take a couple pics and post them.

By the way I am also looking for someone else that has this lift on a 2005 2500. I think my center link drop may be bent and I would like to get some measurements. So if anyone else has this lift please let me know.

For the money the ProComp kit is priced right but it is very basic and alot of work to install. Spend alittle more and you can gain alot and be able to upgrade later as you will find that the procomp design will not allow you to use many upgrades available on the market.

You can't use the Cognito steering braces to increase idler & pitman arm life. You have very few options for tie rod upgrade. You also see increased OEM upper ball joint wear. Again it's a great priced kit but no one ever looks at the worst case, not to push you into a Cognito but even just stepping to a spindle design kit will be better and have more options down the road.

Pro Comp lifts suck. Straight up. My sisters truck is an 07.5 and running the 6" kit.

She had to replace the ball joints in the first 7k miles. She had to replace the pass. side ball joint less than 3k after. She went through 2 sets of tires and that included rotating them to the rear. She had it in and out of four wheel part (that was part of the prob) and in and out of the dealr many many times. The main brace on the pro comp kit starting bending and is visually bent. She just pulled the lift 3 weeks ago.

I've had good luck with mine, of course I only have about 7500 miles on it but, It tracks straight works well and I haven't rotated my tires yet but Im only showing barley if any tire wear.
As far as durabilty my late son had a 97 chevy 1/2 ton with a procomp 4" lift, the lift survived a 70+ mph ditch hit. My son and the truck didnt but the lift did.

I look at it this way, the brand might be great as a "brand" but when you ask whats the best or better for your truck being a GM IFS, Cognito has spent more time designing and developed product that really deflects the common issue's and has product to suite pretty much every customers needs and concerns. ProComp is basic and still has the old design of how IFS lift kits are made. Ask yourself why is it all there other IFS lift kits are spindle but the GM IFS kit? They simply have not gone back and redesigned there kit to meet all the other main IFS suspension company's. Again you are not going to run your truck into a ditch in the first 100 miles but there are better lift kit designs on the market. Hell I still sell Procomp, if you don't want to know anything more about other lifts:)

Everyone i have talked to reccomended it over most brands. I would buy that cognito kit but its to expensive
Every lift is expensive when you have to add on to it with upgrades or have more maintenance to keep the OE parts nice and tight.

Maybe look at a lift that is more basic price with less features, RCD, Tuff Country. You can save alittle but not get stuck if latter you find that you may want other up grades. Alittle more now can save you money later, just compare the lifts in apple to apple form when pricing them out:drink

well, i ordered the lift already and i got it for wholesale price, 1400$. I do no offroading and i am very easy on my truck. Do you guys think i will go through a ton of parts. I ahve already replace most fornt end parts anyway, and i got lifetime warentee on everything. Its good enough for everyday easy driving right?

Well you just stated that you already replaced parts and that was before the lift, the lift will add strain to those same parts so what you had for life span already you will be in the same time frame if not sooner. You will be happy with the kit.
