I have a 2008 Duramax 4X4 Duramax with a 6inch pro comp lift which has 160,000+ miles on it, and was installed the year of the make. The steering is extremely loose, even though I have already replaced the UCAs, tie rods, and the ball joints are functioning properly. My buddy says I should go ahead and purchase all new steering linkages for it (I believe he means the stabilizer, Pittman and idler arms and new drop brackets.) However, I plan on lowering the keys nearly all the way down, and replacing the rear block to try to get to 4inches of lift. I have already purchased new shocks as well. How would the CV angles look? Also, what parts would work with this lift, and where would I purchase them? I would like to get parts that could hold up to the abuses of 4wd launches, if possible.
