Can anyone give me instructions on how to program a new remote? Was going to purchase one and try and avoid taking it to the dealer.
thanks.

I only received one remote with the truck at purchase. the dealership has offered to pay for and have another remote programmed. Scheduling has been a nightmare though. I don't see specific instructions to be able to program a new one without already having 2 learned remotes already.

I purchased a new remote and had it cut from someone on ebay. The seller I used is below but I had 2 working remotes and followed the instructions in the manual. Easy and the key works great. I was worried I wouldnt' be able to program all the remotes (I don't remember the procedure) but it involves putting the key in a slot in the center console.

If you are worried about the seller on ebay, they've done > 39000 transactions and have a 100% positive feedback record. I've never seen that before.

I took one of my keys apart and send the company the FCC codes and the keyID along with a picture of the key to make sure the cut was correct for my truck and the FOB was correct for my truck.

This is the key I ordered:
OEM 2021 2022 CHEVY SILVERADO 1500 2500 SMART KEY PROXIMITY REMOTE FOB 13522854 | eBay
You have to purchase the key cutting service which is:
GM GMC CHEVY SMART PROXIMITY KEYLESS REMOTE FOB INSERT BLADE CUTTING SERVICE | eBay

Yeah, I read in the owner's manual on how to program but it specified that there had to be 2 learned remotes already.
