I park my truck in my garage when not driven. The stock fender-mounted radio antenna interferes with the garage door. I know about the stubby antenna options. I’m looking for more of a stock looking shorter antenna. Anyone know of a shorter antenna that is more stock looking compared to the stubby antenna?

thanks,
Matt

I put a 6 3/4" on mine and love it. Still get am radio with less interference noise

Thanks. Where did you get it from? My current one is 29.5” in height and I would love to get a shorter one.

I don’t know of one that looks stock but my stubby still gets perfectly clear am/fm stations. I needed something shorter for the same reason you posted.

Looks better than stock, works well, is easy to install and won't break bank! I think they're made in Milwaukee, too.

I guess that looks stock? It looks just like the one I bought from who knows where. I thought you were after the spiral thin metal look.

I was, then I found this stainless 16” one. Thought it would complement the chrome look on the mirrors, door handles, and window trim.

I had this exact same situation. Ended up just cutting a few inches off my stock antenna and epoxied on the little ball. No difference in performance.

I removed mine and made a bracket that lays it down on the inside of the fender. Reception is great and nothing above the fender. I’ll try to get pics later.

Cut it off to the size you want.

I got a stock looking 22” one from amazon. It keeps the top below the top of the cab.

Pics of it ‘tucked’. I was going to plug the hole, but just have not gotten around to it yet. I tried replacing the corner with one from an Escalade like I did on my NBS, but it was unfortunately different.
