did you spray the area underneath the fender flares?? i ordered 2 kits today. just curious about spraying under the flares and then reinstalling the flares that will be sprayed also.

your truck looks awesome man.

did you use the tape that has a wire in it? I just need to buy tape, sandpaper, body plastic, and paint.

Looks great. I used the same stuff tinted a light gray to coat the whole inside of my last aluminum boat. Worked great to deaden noise and provide lots of traction and easy cleanup. I'll be doing it to the boat I have now too and plan on doing the same basic thing you did to my truck as well. Works great to keep the rock chips and rust to a minumum

i only sprayed around the fender about a inch so that they fit with a seal. I did not use the tape with wire in it i just used automotive green tape for the main line, then i found this tape and plastic combo. The tape was already connected to the plastic. the overal hight of the plastic was 22 inches, and it worked great. ill get the name of that plasit and tape combo and let you know.i also bought two kits and i only used one.

looks geat!! I too want to do this in a few months
Thanks ya its not hard to do its just the prep work.

your welcome man and your truck looks awesome btw what kinda grill is that? I like the little rivet things
Thanks its just the stock grille i sprayed it too and i put those bolt in there and just spaced them evenly and color matched then to the truck as well. Better then buying a grille for a couple hundred bucks. i got the idea from some one on the forum.

Hmmmm, trying to figure out if I should just go with black on my white truck or color match the white. This looks pretty good.

can you offer up some of the advice you go? Hopefully be doing mine in about a month or so.

IMO id go black it wont show black tar off the road and stuff as much and I just like 2 tone cause its just different! If you truck is white I think black would look badass just sayin

What a mean looking truck. Nice job on everything fella! What did you use for the bolts in the grille. Stainless Allen heads and then paint them with the liner? Looks sick!

#32 ·
You just sprayed the bumpers with the plastic still on? Looks sweet, I need to do mine and my bedrails

there's so many questions being asked in this thread lol..I think Raptor liner is a really good mix between texture and smoothness for the outside of the truck..when I get back from deployment I want to do mine in white for a little cleaner look, for a RCLB to have that much black and black wheels it just looks "off"..I think you did a really good job on the inside and out, I'll be looking you up when I do my truck!!

Lee, hit me up at jkivett06@gmail.com whenever you do your truck in white, I'd really like to see it but not sure when I'll have the chance to be back on here after this week..
