When did raycor /ac delco change to the new style coal. filter. I have a 2007 classic and have been running the 5544 raycor filters and getting short life. Just wondering if my truck had the new style filter from the factory and I have gone to the old style. thanks, Paul.

If I remember right, it was sometime last year that they came out for the Dmax. That is when I first heard of them being offered, also when I first started using them:drink

^^^What he said. I remember last september them becoming all the "rage". I bought a couple and have been satified with the performance of them.
