So for years I have been wanting to do a RCSB conversion, have looked for the right truck but never found one that spoke to me until I found this one about 3 months ago, I picked it up and started the conversion. Its a 2007.5, loaded with black interior and 2wd, just like I wanted.

First thing first...had to get the bed off huh...

I opted to make the needed cuts at the rear of the frame so that when its all said and done there is no welded together frame, just had to move everything else forward and weld it all back with the wheels centered in the short bed wheel openings.

Got everything cut off and basically moved everything forward 13-14 inches.

As you can see in that last pic, the short bed fuel tank goes right in and mounts just like factory once the upper shock mount bar is moved the necessary amount and rewelded in place. The long bed fuel tank and short bed tank side by side

So time to test fit the bed and make sure all my measurements were correct and the rear wheels were centered.

Got the C notch in

Did the control arms in the front

Got the bed on, did an EFI live tune and dsp5 switch, cruised around on the stock wheels for a month or so.

Then today I got the tires mount on the Billet Specialties Octane 8's. Did 20x9.5 in the rear and 20x8 in the front

So far I love driving this truck, its tons of fun on the 130hp tune. I do wish it was a little lower now with the new wheels but I think I'll just have to get used to it as is, the rear axle is already sitting just barely inside the C notch and the front is about as low as Id go and still be comfortable with driving it around town without dragging it on everything.
