Thanks for the kind words guys. I'll get some more pics up early next week, I'm out of town for the weekend. I actually ordered another size tire for the front, originally for some reason I thought a little shorter of a tire would look good...I was way off, it looks silly. So probably Tuesday-Wednesday I should have what I hope is the right size tire on this thing and then it'll be photo worthy. Lol.

anderj85 - I don't have that much time in this thing to be honest. I had the bed, fuel tank, and lowering kit all with me when I started tearing it apart on a Saturday morning, I worked on it pretty much nonstop that weekend and was just about done (minus the driveshaft) that Monday evening after work. I had some help from a buddy so that moved things along a bit faster. Installing the lowering kit took just as long and shortening the truck, for me anyway. If you left one stock height you could easily have it done in a weekend. I also lucked out and found a bed locally that was the same color as the truck, so that was a stroke of good luck for sure.

Again thanks for all the compliments guys and I'll be sure and post a few more pics ASAP.

That's sweet! When are you coming over so we can do this to my truck haha.

The bed was the most expensive part of shortening it. I think I paid 2k for that, the fuel tank was 40 bucks from a wrecking yard, and the driveshaft was 300 bucks. The wheels, tires, EFI live, and lowering kit added to it ofcourse but not really part of making it short.

I just wanna see a speedo video!! Ha have I already mentioned that? Lol

I'm kinda confused, if you moved everything forward, how did you move the spring hangers forward. I am looking at the pictures and it seems like the forward mounts would end up in the section of the frame that slopes down if you moved them forward. I really want to do this someday and this seems better then the cutting and shortening the frame. Oh and it looks sick so far, nice job man.

Ruined the truck. Short beds suck.

Right, maybe he should have just left it and bolted on a sweet set of steelies. He'd have a real panty dropper then lmao

Do you ever think before you open your mouth? Just cause it isn't your style maybe you should just stfu and move on. You have filled multiple threads with your useless, negative "everybody's ideas suck but mine" post whoring clutter.
Sorry op to clutter your thread up. Badass rig and can't wait to see more pics of this rig.

Nice man! Hate when people are assholes. Just because it isn't your cup of tea don't go slamming it.

Did 20x9.5 in the rear and 20x8 in the front

Great job shortening the truck....:thumb

On your first set of 20x9.5 in the rear and 20x8 in the front what tire sizes did you use? Maybe someone can answer this, if the front tire/wheel diameter is less than the back does this have any effect on the ABS brake system?
