My rear axle seal was leaking so i decided I'd replace the bearings while I had it apart. the outer bearing popped right out. the inside bearing took a light tap then came out. when i went to put the new bearing in it wont fit. its barely going past the line where the clip goes. At first i thought i had the wrong bearing, but then i tried putting the old bearing in and it wont fit either. Does any one have any ideas as to why it won't fit anymore? again this is the inside bearing. Thanks!
EDIT- I should have been more specific. Its the race that wont fit in the. I Have tried to hammer it down lightly and with hard blows, neither is working.
