I have a 2005 EC/SB and my buddy has a 2005 CC/SB. He has 265's on stock rims and I have 285's on some aftermarket 16's. I understand that the 285's will be taller but the distance from the center of my axle to the top of the wheel flare is probably 3"-4" higher than his. Both trucks are stock suspensioned. My torsion bars are cranked and his are stock. I don't understand why my truck sits so much higher. Any ideas?

Same suspension but you ext cab is lighter than the crew. Might be why.

Yes mine is 2WD and his is 4WD. I'm in the process of getting him to take a picture.

I noticed today that he has 1 fewer leaf spring than I do. I have the towing package on mine, not sure about his. Is that the reason why I have the additional spring and sit higher?
