here some pics of my painted bumpers and what now along with an explanation









2 coats of rustoleum flat black on everything, no prep, no primer, i just cleaned it all with lacquer thinner.

ill get some better pics tomorrow my g.f said shell take some pics after we wash it because i suck at it ha ha

Looks good man. I'm more of a chrome guy, but your truck looks good blacked out:drink

thanks thanks, yes i just went over everything the chrome plastic everything doesnt matter to me ha ha...hasnt peeled or chipped or anything

i did it when it was cold as hell, no prep work nothing and it better than powder coat ha ha

when its done right it looks good if to much it looks like a Mexican mobile and most people here in NY dont know how to style a truck so it usually come out trashy and tacky

yeah i agree it a lil chrome is nice mix with some black looks good. To much chrome kills it tho

Nice...I love a blacked out truck but i tried black on mine and it just didnt flow right with the orange...and im with ya on too much chrome (even though ive got quite bit) but I hate seein a truck that looks like a rollin JC whitney mag Ad

looks good but i like the blacked out look with no chrome
yeah blacked out is a sweet look to. My truck had to much chrome already and got to good of a deal on tires to be picky

yes i did everything to myself, i always do my own work. ok heres the deal

grab a can of rustoleum flat black tape of your paint spray all the plastics and the chrome and everything on the front end along with all the chrome and plastic on the rear bumper

for the grill i removed it and sprayed it off the truck


EVERYTHING GETS TWO COATS

paint...dry to the touch(dont cheat) then paint it again and wait then install and be happy
