i just bought two last week, and got some free shirts from Alligator

 

I just bought a tuner from them I didn't get any free shirts

Either are fine, I like running the oiled but it's a pain sometime to get cleaned, dried and re-oiled without having to go somewhere so I bought a paper that I trade out and do the maintenance then just switch it back after I get It done. Are you running the scoop on ur truck?

definitely speeds up the change intervals

i mean, for what i consider a dirty filter.....some might think is clean

but filters are cheap :thumb

 

I have the Donaldson Powercore paper filter as a replacement for the S&B

I use the paper filter and the filter wrap. The wrap keeps a lot of stuff out of the filter and you can take it off and blow the dirt off with air.

 

I just started using the filter wrap as well to help protect the filter a little. I haven't noticed any flow restriction or increased temps anywhere.

I have 2 oil ones. When the 1 filter is dirty I switch in the clean one. Makes the cleaning effort less stressful.

I like the dry disposable idea. Pull it off and toss in another. I have done my time cleaning K&N style filters over the years.

 

I wish they had that design
