S & B FILTERS PERFORMANCE INTAKE KITS 2006-Current GM Duramax Turbo Diesel 6.6L (LBZ/LLY)

What is the scoop on this intake? I did a search, but couldn't come up with anything. I have been running an S&B intake on my 500hp LT1 stroker for 4 years now without a problem, and really like it. But how do they do on the LB7s? Thanks,

One came on the truck I bought the other day. Just be careful no to overoil it and mess up your maf. Also if your truck is still under warranty they can void your engine warranty for having a filter that takes oil. The AEM doesn't take oil and others have said the stock intake is good until you are over 500rwhp.

i just got the replacement filter and i just drilled holes in the bottom of my airbox seems to work fine

Did you do the airbox mod on PPE's site? Seems to be an improvement over the AFE I just sold..IMHO

if you are runnin the stock turbo i wouldn't worry about doing a aftermarket air intake and just run the stocker and spend them $300 some where else..i'm runnin my oem air intake on my 06 LBZ with roughly 400+rwhp and never had any trouble with it..
