What are the signs of a going tc? Im asking because on my ppe 160hp tune when I get on it I feel it doesn't take off like it should, it kinda just revs out. Im not positive but im pretty sure im not just spinning my tires. My tranny and tc are all stock.

Most of the time a torque converter will "shudder" when its bad, revving out and not moving like it should is most likely slipping clutches...

Just towed my boat yesterday day for the first time with the truck and for that matter, its the first time I towed anything with the truck. 4200lb boat/trailer weight, dead flat road and I had a shudder in overdrive. I put it in tow/haul and didn't notice anything abnormal but when I had it in "normal" mode, I got this shudder in 5th gear. How to do pin point what is going on? I do have EFI (new purchaser), is there anything there I can monitor to figure out what is going on?
