i have been a dodge guy from the time i was 13 or so. i always loved the front end of the dodge, and i have owned 3. a ram van, a viper truck, and a cummins.
i have owned one GMC prior to this, a 95 6.5 burb.it has cooling issues, so i crossed chevy off my list.
so after my dodge blew up i figured i would try chevy again, having a distaste of dodge after that.
so it has been 2 weeks and 3000 miles.
in a few words, love it.
its mostly comfortable, good power ( not enough low end), it makes a good noise, and runs smoothe.
so far i have changed the oil filter.
took me 10min to get the oil cap off.... i even used vice grips to turn it 5 times, before i thought to pull up.....
what it needs....
4 calipers, parking brake pads, new rotors.
they are all shot.
i will take suggestions on type, and place to buy, keep in mind i am 26,000GVW.
FUEL MILEAGE!!!!!!!
with the dodge i would get 8-10 loaded.... i am getting 16!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is a 4WD too!!!!
dont tell the cummins forum guys, but this 2002 chevy is much better then my 2006 dodge.
dodge will be repaired and sold.
