hey there guys i have a 2004 2500HD and i have changed every thing on the front end that was worn as well as the steering box and its still sloppy and was hoping someone here would have an idea what else i should do

Did you replace Idler and pivot? Any play in hubs? Do you have over sized tires? Did you install a support kit?

Have someone move the steering wheel back and forth just a little-- then watch for movement at all the steering parts. The part that does not move is the problem part.

Also re-built steering gears will usually have a lot of play in the gear. You need to check this also as described above.

If the alignment is off it will also cause driveability problems. Also worn tires.

It supports the pitman and idler ends where they connect to center link. It keeps them from rolling. Takes a lot of play out of steering. "Cognito Support Kit". A very good investment.
