I changed the air cleaner element this morning. Put in the AC that is prescribed. All normal. Never got it out of the garage. It starts right up, runs for a few seconds, and shuts off. Will re-do exactly the same as many times as you try.
The Banks IQ reads codes. It showed only a fuel level sensor fault. I cleared it and the truck still acts the same. I checked the connectors at the MAF. Nothing seems wrong. Where do I look now?

check your maf for any oil or dirt.
is your air filter the oil type? if so, get some maf cleaner and clean it.
check the fuel level sensor, it truely may be bad.

For the air filter I used the original equipment AC A2947C. No oil type filter.

Regarding the fuel level sensor code: my first thought was that it's unrelated, because the tank is full. How do you check a fuel level sensor?

This goes in a different direction. It's a passlock-theft deterrent problem. I mistook the similar spare key from another truck for this one and tried to start it. This triggered the Passlock theft deterrent system.
I'll start another thread.
