My brother has a 2002 Dodge Cummins. Edge box, Fass 150, 5 inch exhaust and an air intake. My truck only has a K&N stage one air intake on it. I met him for dinner tonight. When we left the resturaunt, we got stopped at a red light next to each other, and it was on. I took it easy off the line and he got about half a truck leangth on me, and that was it. I put it to the floor and pulled ahead of him pretty quickly and stayed about a truck leanght ahead until we had to shut it down for the next light. We stopped at the next light and he had nothing to say. I know the duramax is fast, but i figured he have beaten since his truck has some mods to it. It was fun, just thought I would share.
Oh, we had our wives with us, they were not amused!!!

My truck is the lly, believe it is the 310hp. I dont know how much hp his edge gives him. It is just a single tune plug in go tuner? I think.

I have a friend that had an 05 cummins, when I had 01 Dmax he would never play, don't blame him cause that truck had a programmer and was pretty quick...I would have returned it to stock but he didn't want none. Later I got an 07 powerjoke and he didn't want any part of it either. Dodge may pull well but they are slow!!!! This same friend bought a gmc and is a member of this forum.

Nice kill !! I have to say though, our trucks may be quick, but stock chevy against stock dodge..... the dodge has alot more pulling power.. I drove a buddies 07 dodge w/6-speed that would walk all over my Dad's '08 LMM

well guys..i race my buddy all the time..he has an 04 duramax with a 6" lift and 33s with only a cold air intake..and i have my cummins with my smarty turned up..a CAI..a raptor fuel pump..and jammer injectors..and most of the time i BARELY win at a race..which is one of the reasons im buying a duramax pretty soon..theyre fast as hell!! but i still love my cummins though

yeah ive beat some cummmins that should have won by what they had done but idk they just didnt have it seems like they loose their kick at higher speeds

I have a 1968 Ford 3000 4 speed that will beat a Cummins. Cummins are slow, I should know, I was beat in one several times. That is why I drive a GMC now.
