Stock Nerf Bars

Here's a question for you guys...

I have nerf bars on my truck (from the factory I presume). They are located very close to the body of the truck and when you get in and out your foor ends up rubbing on the body. Well in the life of my truck, this rubbing has brought the paint down to bare metal in the spot where your foot rubs the most. If you have these on your truck you'll know what I mean. My question is, is there anything you can put over the paint to prevent this becuase to be quite honest I'm getting sick of painting it,

Lund makes a door seal cover. It goes on with double sided tape. I had the same problem on a ford I owned. Costs $30 at the local auto parts store. Worked great :rockin

Door Sill Protectors

why not just spend a couple hundred and get some nice aftermarket steps? fixes that and they look nice

I'm to cheap!!! otherwise heck yeah!!

Thanks Jason, based on the pic it looks like it protects the upper part which will help but I'm also getting it on the actual body as well. I'll post up a pic to show what I mean, its hard to explain.
here is a picture of what I mean...
