OP, that really sucks. I read that all they have to do is cut the onstar antenna cable and it's worthless. do you know if they towed it? or if they "hot-wired" the truck. I hope the insurance claim is rapid and fair.

I put a Ravelco device in all vehicles. Pull the plug when u get out and can only be stolen by a tow truck. I live close to the southern border so trucks are ddesirable for drug and human smuggling.

I had this on my last truck when I was stationed in SoCal. had it on my Jeep rock crawler as well. good system

I call BS, Onstar and GM don't care, they know insurance will pay and the owner may end up buying a new GM truck, so just one more sale for them! I have started taking the fuel pump relay out of the truck at night hoping that causes them enough issues, if they do try to get mine, that they bail on the theft. I think I will take a look at all the fuses and relays to see how many I can remove to disable it, I doubt they'll have a pocket full of the right things to repopulate and drive it away

look into Ravelco. after they get done, all you have to do is take a fob out every time you get out of the truck. they use metal sheathing and wire it into the factory harness. might save you some time with the fuses and relays.
