Has anyone ever got a standard truck box to fit behind the rear seat of a crew cab? It has a metal brace running across that won't let it sit down far enough. Before I hack anything up I figured I would see of anybody has a better way.

Subthumb and soundoffaudio have the best sub boxes. Very nice setup for a crew cab especially. I would recommend either for great sound/ fitment.

I cut that brace out of the 02' and moved the seat up a bit when i built that system. But I recommend the above unless you really need the extra air space.

I just have a single ten I want to put back there. Does the brace hold anything up? If it is cut will it mess up the seat I guess is really the question.

On mine it was just to hold the flap that made a flat surface when the seats were folded down. I took that all out to make for more room. You can keep it stock though for just a ten...plenty of room.
