I currently have the MTX thunderform box (two 10's with built in amp) that i only bought just over a week ago and i want to sell it already. I am not impressed with this system.
- Is it possible to fit two 12's behind the back seat? What about four tens and still sound good? I want to still be able to have some stoarage space under or behind my back seat though.
- Also with my MTX Thunderform set up, how do i hook it up to the factory deck? I want to pull my flip screen outta my truck as the constant wire to the brain box pulled outta the connector and a slight bump shuts the deck off and put my 6-disc back in. With it hooked up to the factory deck will the ubs get louder as the volume turns up, like normal? (never hooked subs up to a factory deck before)
- I want something that when the low bass hits it shakes the rear view mirror or outside mirrors that i cant see through them, the set up now wont even make them move a millimeter.
- Pic's of your stereo set-ups if possible?
- Also, has anybody here built there own box for behind the back seat?
- Is a behind the seat box or a down-firing box louder? Can the seat sit flush when folded down with a down-firing box?

Thanks

Tyler how do you keep your box from rattling against the cab? My box looks very similar but with 2 10"s and it sounds horrible...I had to put my 10"s in some home made boxes under the back seat.

It does make a difference only if you love audio or just want it to be loud

6 1/4 in at the bottom and almost 2 in and the top. There is a notch in the back of the box so it sits flush with the back wall

Boreen, you can put two 12" under the seat. I got this box on e-bay custom for under the seat for my truck. I have two JBL 12's. Can't see the speakers cause they are mounted facing down. I did have to move my O.E Jack to make it work, but that jack didn't serve much purpose for me anyway. On the factory deck, you need the wiring diagram so you know what is what.

I got the box with a blank front and cut the holes. I dont know it offhand, but I don't think you will have enough airspace for more than 1 12. Plus the fitment. I couldnt get 12s back there in the shallow mounts. But you might have a hair more room in you lly
