I have an 05' LLY with 202k. Sometimes the tach will be way off(running at 500rpm when its real running at 2k rpm) and sometimes it will be redlining when I'm obviously not. Also, it seems when the tach acts up, the oil pressure gauge will drop to zero as well. Anyone have any opinions on what's goin on?

i have a thread ongoing about a similar situation, but mine is worse. I am looking into finding a fix and when i do, i will post a thread on things to look for and which ones are the most common, including all the good advice i have gotten on my thread.

My guess is that your stepper motors on your gauges are bad. I believe theres a thread on here about how to replace them. I had to replace them on my moms Trail Blazer, its pretty easy.
