Got a ecm and tcm tune, reset taps when i did the tcm tune. Drove it around town for a bit, did a bit of a relearn on the highway, didn't do tow haul relearn cuz didnt have time. But i keep bouncing off the rev limiter 3 or 4 times between shifts.

Is it because i didn't do a complete relearn first or what?

who did the tuning? Sounds like they didnt do the shift rpm vs shift speed correctly..

a local guy around my area did the tuning. it started doin it when i did the tcm tune. Im runnin a pretty hot tune maybe around 475 ish or more... I got 35" tires too and my speedo is calibrated fine...

Doesnt matter.

tire calibration is in the ecm tune for your speedo.

Allison goes off of a shift rpm and shift speed to perform a shift. if the cross of the 2 lines dont meet where the tcm thinks it will, it's going to hang a shift, just as you are describing.

X^2 its reached the revlimiter but not the rpm/speed for the tcm to initiate the shift

Yes I was told that my trans couldn't handle the power, but I've never limped yet or have been hard on it.

Just because it hasnt limped doesnt mean it's not hurting it.

I know that, all I was gettin at is it didn't seem like the right answer to me cuz it shifted fine without tcm tune.

Put your stock TCM tune back in and reset the taps again you sould be fine other than the fact you are going to kill your trans with that kind of tune.

Sounds like you may not be holding rail pressure, do you have a lift pump?

yes AD150 and fprv, and the cp3 inlet fitting comin soon.
