I when you delete the EGR you delete it and the earlier models didn't come with them. Just more emissions crap.

Well an EGR delete will definitely make your truck happier and they claim up to like 30rwhp gain depending on your tuning. So I vote yes, hell my EGR delete kit and a Batmowheel from SDP is in the mail as we speak lol.

Deleted it on my 07 along with the full egr system.just cut and welded the riser on the pass side up pipe,then did PCV reroute. Nothin but boost going thru her now.still seems to start fine as cold as its been thus far. Ditch it!

I took mine off while I was doing the PCV reroute. Just loosened the nuts and pulled the grid oud. bubble wraped the grid and put on the shelf. In case I want to put it back on some day. I don't know how much it will help, but seems like it should, I mean it does take an obsticle out of the air flow.

where is this located at? i blocked my egr and pcv reroute but never heard of this?

Follow the intake towards the I C. Big power cable running into it. I got a delete sitting on the shelf haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Probably wait till spring now.
