So after reading what seemed like years of info(Don) I decided to make a call over to ADP and see what I can really do with my truck, I'm Part way there with the tuner and pipes. so I decided to try and shoot for 600, realistically I probably will only get 5 and some change.

I've always wanted to take a turbo diesel truck and make it mine, and now I get the chance. Yeh I could of looked around harder for an 07 to 09, but prices here were nuts, so for a few bucks more I bought new.

Who knows as a couple years go by, I may be able to make some power and have some real fun before I retire :rofl Any hoot I decided to start in the engine bay, no power upgrades , just getting things tidied up for down the road. EGR delete, DP, CAI, Lift pump. I know the tranny will have to be worked over, that will be a spring project. Already have the front end laid out for parts.

Could not be more happy with the help I have been getting from the guys here and Holton over at ADP. So I arrive home from work and find this sitting on the doorstep. So I guess it's time to go have some fun, Hell even the gal is into it, and asked if the parts are showing up, Hmmm future LML runner :neener

Ok so I started the wiring for the fass today, takes about an hr to chase it all . I get a little meticulous with wiring, so your mileage may vary.

Mounted the relay on the fire wall next to the ground strap. Stainless self tapper makes quick work out of that. Do yourself a favor and disconnect the harness and use some dilectric grease.

Started with routing the 12v feed to the battery.Easiest route is along the fire wall and fender.

You can attach the loom to the supplied clips that are there for the hood release. Anchor the fuse to the fire wall and done.

Next we went on to the ignition wire. We as in my GFand I, she's into the build just as much as I am.

This is always fun chasing a wire through the fire wall the grommet you want is located next to the bulk head wires to the left. The install manual shows it better than my phone will take. What they don't tell you is its easy to chase the wire thru when removing the cover and block on the inside.
The cover has two release clips on the side, release them and give the cover a tug to pull the push pin out.

You can then release the two locking clips on the block and remove it out of the way.

The loom and all will go thru the seal and chase it up and over to the ignition fuse block.

Next it was time to run the power supply wire to the pump. Pretty straight forward, down the driver side frame rail. Zip tie it along.

Then over the top to where I will be mounting the pump. I dry fitted the pump assembly, and will be able to secure it to the old fuel cooler mount.

That's all the time I had for today. Tomorrow ill start fabbing the bracket to the cooler mount.

Better take another look at the harness routing along the frame. Looks like it is touching the E-brake cable. If so, it won't be long before the steel cable chaffs through your electrical harness...
It's actually the wire tie that the cable is next too. When we were under there I looked at it as well. What I don't get is why gm routed the main harness that damn close.

Thanks for bringing that up ;) just for the record the supply line is routed against the top of that harness out of harms way against the frame :)

Mental note one: remount main harness higher on frame rail :)

Thanks You and Don, actually put me to the point to get off my ass and build this damn thing.
I want it to be a sleeper, as well as my DD. The pump is a tight fit as long as I can keep it off the floor board, it should bolt right on.
