I have a ready lift leveling kit and mine rides great, feels like a cadillac. Others will say not to do a leveling kit. But when i did i made sure the stock torsion bolts were screwed back in the same length as when the stock keys were in. You can do whatever you like. As far as tires i had some terra grapplers on my z71 and they rode fine, they did wear a little quick. I would defiantly suggest investing in some michelin tires. I have the Michelin LTX A/T 2's They are more expensive but will last twice as long. They are excellent tires. They have an aggressive sidewall and slight aggressive tread but ride extremely smooth on the road.

But thats just my opinion. Back in they day i was all about looks and was all for a mud terrain look and didnt care about the ride or how quick they wore. But now i want the smoothest ride i can get and the most mileage i can get. Hope this helps and good luck!
