i bought mine in the same town as that one for 3500. i know that one is a lot cleaner than mine but i couldn't see paying much more than 10000 for that one, on edit, just noticed the ats tranny

Yea but do the ATS trannys hold well to the LB7s? I figured this badboy would get some nice twins

ive heard good thing and bad things about ats, mainly lack of customer support/service sometimes. haven heard all that much about them failing and nearly nothing about them with the Allison, but its got to be better than stock. test drive it and see how it feels. i was told mine had an ats when i bought it but the receipt they showed me for the tranny said nothing about ats and the thing doesn't shift worth a damn, also had the wrong pressure sensor in it. i would do a good test drive with it and go from there.

ATS tranny might shift a little harder than some newer kits. but should hold the power pretty adequately. at least for a while...

I test drove it last night and the shifting is terrible 3-4 gears. Unless he powdercoated his stocker purple. I gotta drive it a bit more only did like 10 miles

Nope didnt see the copilot under the dash. I thought ATS trannys didnt hold up behind a dmax? Zeke38 how do you like yours on the LBZ?

I have had it for about two years and 30k miles no problems. Not pushin a lot of horse but i like the trans a lot. Co pilot really makes a diffrence in shift firmness but i rarely turn it on. My buddy with a 80mm over a stock turbo setup has the stage 1 trans like that truck and dont believe hes had any problems with his eithier
