I put a 4.5" BDS lift on fairly recently and there is now a significant thud coming from the rear of the truck... It happens only when I come to a complete stop after driving at normal speeds or when i release the brakes after stopped. I checked the U-joints and they seem to be good. Axle is not moving when it happens (unless its so minor i cant see it move). I tightened everything in the rear end seriously 5 times since I installed the lift and cant seem to find where its coming from. It makes the whole truck jolt when it happens. I'm willing to try just about anything at this point.

Thanks! JB

Mine is doing the same thing. I have heard some people say that it is the locking diff. Does it do it every time or does it come and go?

X25--- remove the drive shaft, separate the parts--

clean and lube the center slip yoke and spline. Problem fixed!
