i have a timken hub bearing on the way from mike at Dmaxstore.com i know the name timken is one of the best, but i was just wondering who all is running them.

also any pointers to installing it, i am doing my self

any input is greatly appreciated

pretty easy to do.. im running the timkens in both front hubs... only problem i ever had was one of them had a bad ABS sensor from go.... so i had to do the passenger side twice.. no problems other than that

They are good bearings.

Easy to install too. If you can do brakes then you can do wheel bearings. Just make sure you have a large breaker bar handy.

well to be honest i have never done brakes. i saw the write up on diesel on diesel place on how to do it. i just didnt know if there was any other tips or hints that might be useful

I think Timkin bearings are mostly made in Mexico. That's ALMOST United States......:)

Timken were made here in Latrobe at the Timken specialty steel facility. I don't think they moved.
