I know a few of you have run 35×12.5 20 on your AT4,,,has anyone put on 295×65 20 on their truck,,,almost identical dimensions but the 295 are a couple of hundred less the the 35

No problem with the 296/65/20. Had a set of BFG KO2s put on 2 days ago. Same truck. Zero rub in any condition. No lift. No torsion bar adjustment. 100% stock.
Great,,,I was debating between the 295/72/20 or the 35/12.5/20,,,almost the exact size except the 35 are about an inch wider and a couple hundred dollars more,,,think like you if we are using the stock wheels the 295 fit the wheel better,,,the 35 are made for a much wider wheel
I gave it a little thought but dismissed it because If I have trouble with my tires which I go through because of damage quickly(3rd set on my 2020) that size is a "we have none in stock will take a few day to order". Run the 35x12.50-20 Ridge Grappler.
I just put Toyo 295/65/20 AT3's on mine and I love them. No major clearance issues, but if you turn into a drive way near full lock, it'll ever so slightly rub the inner fender liner.
That size will work for a mall crawler but off road in the right conditions--imagine the drive way example except going down a steep embankment in full wheel lock and one side hits the bottom first in not even full lock. Will not be pretty. Do not ask me how I know these things-----learned the hard way years ago. That is why if I need to add a lift and do some cutting if necessary--cry once and install it correctly rather than cry later.
I put 295/65R20 Toyo Open Country C/T's on my truck yesterday, and had a very slight rub on the passenger side wheel well liner at full lock. I ended up cutting about 1" of the material off the rear corner of the liner with a pair of sharp utility shears. The guy at the tire shop mentioned that he put the exact same tires on a 2500 the week before but had no rubbing at all because it did not have the wheel well liners... Just an FYI.
Ok thanks for the information,,,think ill probably put on the 295 think they fit the stock wheel better anyways, and if the 295 rib a bit, the 35's because they are a bit wider, will probably rub more
