Hey everyone! along with the edge juice w attitude and 5 inch exhaust system on my 03' Duramax, she also sports 285/75/16 BFG All Terrains...i dont want to switch them out just yet since they are brand new. But will i still get enough hook up in 4WD to pull a respectable distance? thanks:confused:

For the power level you are at the tires you have are the tires of choice and even the right size!!!
Lots of people run with AT's around here along with myself, and they hook up just fine.
the bfg's are a excellent tire for traction in softer dirt but on a little harder dirt such as clay a softer tire such as the bridgestone dueller revo has better traction, but you should just fine on that tire.just my 2 cents$
BFG AT's:thumbsup
Thats what ive been hearin so i guess i better stick w em!! thanks!
I ran A/T's also last season, they will work fine at your power level.
The AT's are a great tire but i've had real good luck with 50% tread MTR's.

are you talking about the GOODYEAR WRANGLER MT/R?
That'd be the ones. 285/75 R16 's

tell me they don't rub each other on the duals,or did you add wheel spacers.man that's wide tires for dauls.:cool:what happens in most cases when tires rub together on duals they heat up and KABBBOOOOM!!!
Yeah I run a 2 3/4in. spacer between the back tires. it sets them jsut outside the fenders and gives it a real good stance... i think you can see them pretty well in my garage pics.

looks good.how do you like ats tranny and how does it handle regular street driveing, such as smooth shifting.again nice dually:cool ps how many horse if i may be nosey
Yeah i love the ATS tranny it was like picking up an extra couple hundred horse when i got it done. With the Co-Pilot you can adjust the shift strength so it still drives like a stocker if you want it to. I haven't had her dyno'd yet but my estimate would be around 600HP based on the beating that i have given some 500+ HP trucks in pulls. My eyes are set on dual CP3's, head studs and an aurora 5000. $$$$
The A5K with dual fueler's will have you right around your 600 HP #.

Truck setup is key, you can take a 400 hp truck and make 500+ trucks look silly if you can get all 400 of yours to the ground and they can't put what they have to use.
Has anyone tried the Mastercraft Courser CT. I really like mine. Just a thought

I run these for winter tires (only 245's), I love them i even used to run them on my old 98 dually year round!
i had those dueller ats and they were terrible in mud and snow. I really liked the CT's when i was pushing snow. I also liked my BFG AT's too. But i really like these CT's.
the couser ct is a great all purpose tire,i ran a set on my truck and i liked them my faverite is the Dayton Timberline MT.

I agree, my experience plowing snow is how i got started using the ct tires, they are awesome in deep snow!

I ran a few sets of cooper st tires aswell but they are a almost identical tire!
