245/75/16 tires, found a set of 4 at the right price , will they fit without any mod on DRW truck? I'll just have to buy 2 more to make the set. Tire shop guy says they may rub without spacers.

Not gonna' happen without spacers....

You'd have better luck goin' with an LT235/85R-16E, 3/4" taller than the 245 but 3/4" narrower...they'll rub a bit too with a heavy load on, but not if running light.

And, the 235/85 is cheaper than the 245/75. :D

Hmmmmmm.... have they changed the rims or anything since 2004? I am only asking because as I mentioned above, I am running 245/70R17 on my dually with no issues at all. No rubbing or clearance issues even when towing.

The dually wheel changed on the NBS with the 16" to 17" bump.

I ended up going with a new set of 235's . Less hassle. Definitely wasn't going with spacers. Thanks for the posts guys. Get educated on things pretty quick on here.
