Hey guys, new here and new to the Duramax.. I bought a 2016 Denali 150k miles, PPEI tunes, 5 position SOTF
Fass fuel system, S&B intake..
of course it felt great in the test drive, after driving the truck a while I’m noticing a skipping or inconsistent pulling if the truck is under a slight load form 3rd gear on in pretty much every tune.. feels like a torque converter not locking up maybe? Anybody have any ideas? Before I go throwing money in all directions.. I have new fuel filters on the way, just to try something.

@BoiseRob thanks for your reply! I have hooked a scanner up, it can’t find any codes.. also a friend is letting me borrow an edge insight, no codes either.. it doesn’t have the PID for gear or T/C lock up

There should be codes saved if there are any major issues. Connect a scanner to the OBDII port and retrieve any codes.

Taking it to the shop tomorrow to let them hook it up, check rail pressures, all the good stuff.. supposed to pick up at 16,000lb 5er this week.. that will let me know for sure if something is wrong..
